Terms and Conditions

Please read these Terms and Conditions carefully before using our website or booking services with Sub Maldives Pvt Ltd (“Company,” “we,” “our,” or “us”). By accessing or using our website or services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree with any part of the Terms, you must not use our services.

2. Eligibility

To book our services, you must:

  • Be at least 18 years old or have the permission of a legal guardian.

  • Possess valid travel documents and diving certifications (where applicable).

  • Accept responsibility for complying with local laws and dive safety protocols.


3. Bookings and Payments

A. Reservation Process

Bookings are accepted via:

  • Our website

  • Email or phone

  • Authorized travel agents

All bookings are subject to availability and are confirmed only upon receipt of the required deposit.

B. Payments

  • A 30% non-refundable deposit is required at the time of booking.

  • Сайт remaining balance is due 60 days before the trip start date.

  • Payments can be made via credit card, bank transfer, or secure online platforms.

C. Late Payments

Failure to complete payment by the due date may result in cancellation and loss of deposit.


4. Cancellations and Refunds

A. Cancellation by Customer

  • More than 60 days before departure: Deposit forfeited.

  • 30–59 days before departure: 50% of total cost charged.

  • Less than 30 days before departure: 100% of total cost charged.

B. Cancellation by Sub Maldives

We reserve the right to cancel or reschedule due to unforeseen circumstances (e.g., weather, mechanical issues, insufficient bookings). Customers will be offered:

  • A full refund, or

  • Rebooking on an alternative trip.

We are not liable for incidental costs (e.g., flights, visas, insurance) in such cases.


5. Insurance Requirements

All guests must have:

  • Valid travel insurance covering trip cancellation, medical emergencies, and evacuation.

  • Diving insurance (for dive packages) covering hyperbaric treatment and accidents.

You may be asked to show proof before or during your trip.


6. Diving Requirements and Waiver

For dive trips:

  • You must present a valid diving certification (e.g., PADI, SSI).

  • You must complete a liability waiver и medical declaration.

  • We reserve the right to restrict diving based on safety concerns or instructor judgment.

Missed dives due to illness, flight schedules, or personal choice are non-refundable.


7. Guest Responsibilities

You agree to:

  • Comply with the safety instructions of crew and dive staff.

  • Respect marine life, the environment, and local customs.

  • Behave respectfully toward other guests and staff.

We reserve the right to refuse service or disembark guests for misconduct, without refund.


8. Travel Documents and Visas

You are responsible for obtaining valid passports, visas, and any required documentation. Sub Maldives accepts no liability for entry denial or issues related to immigration requirements.


9. Website Use and Intellectual Property

All content on [www.submaldives.com] including text, images, logos, and booking systems are the intellectual property of Sub Maldives Pvt Ltd or licensed third parties.

You agree not to:

  • Copy, modify, or distribute site content without permission.

  • Use automated tools to scrape data or disrupt services.

  • Post misleading or offensive content through our contact forms.


10. Limitation of Liability

Sub Maldives is not liable for:

  • Delays, losses, or damages caused by weather, political unrest, pandemics, or third-party actions.

  • Injury, illness, or death resulting from non-compliance with safety protocols.

  • Damage or loss of personal belongings, including dive gear or luggage.

You travel and dive at your own risk and are encouraged to have comprehensive insurance.


11. Force Majeure

We are not responsible for failure to perform obligations due to events beyond our control, including but not limited to natural disasters, wars, labor disputes, epidemics, or governmental restrictions.


12. Changes to Services or Terms

We reserve the right to modify services, prices, itineraries, or these Terms at any time. The latest version of the Terms will be posted on our website. Continued use of our services after changes indicates acceptance.


13. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Maldives. Any disputes shall be settled by the courts of Malé City.
