Located on the northeast side of Vaavu Atoll, Miyaru Kandu is one of the most popular channel dive sites in the Maldives. Nicknamed the "Shark Channel", this site is known for its consistent sightings of 灰礁鲨 和 white-tip reef sharks, especially during strong incoming currents.

Due to variable current conditions, Miyaru Kandu is best suited for 高级潜水员, though on calmer days, it can be accessible to intermediate-level divers as well. Expect an adrenaline-filled drift dive with big fish action and clear visibility.

Divers can expect frequent sightings of reef sharks, nurse sharks, and other 大型中上层鱼类 cruising along the drop-offs or out in the blue. The sandy areas are ideal for spotting 魟鱼, 鹰射线和 resting sharks, offering exceptional opportunities for underwater photography and big animal encounters.

Located west of Fulidhoo Island, Kunaavashi Kandu is a spectacular channel dive site that comes alive during incoming tides. Divers can explore both entrances of the channel, where 大型中上层鱼类 are frequently spotted.

The southern reef wall features dramatic overhangs and cavities starting at 10 meters and descending to 30+ meters deeper into the channel. Along the edge, it’s common to see 灰礁鲨, 白鳍鲨和 schools of jacks—making this an ideal site for big fish lovers 和 experienced divers.

Inside the caves and under the ledges, divers may encounter whitetip reef sharks, 魟鱼, and occasionally nurse sharks resting in the shadows. The site also boasts vibrant hard and soft corals at shallower depths (around 5 meters), making it a beautiful and diverse dive from start to safety stop.
