Maaya Thila is one of the most iconic dive sites in Ari Atoll, Maldives. Once ranked among the top 10 dive sites globally, it’s especially famous for night dives 与 巨型悬铃木 和 white-tip reef sharks. Though the shallow reef top has seen damage, deeper areas (from 12 meters down) remain rich in marine life, including 灰礁鲨 和 glassfishnear surrounding pinnacles.

Located off Fesdhoo Island in Ari Atoll, this site combines a sunken wreck with a small thila, ideal for Nitrox divers 和 macro photography. It’s perfect for spotting colorful corals, large fish schools, and occasionally, manta rays at a nearby cleaning station.

Fish Head, also known as Shark Point, is a legendary thila in Ari Atoll. While sightings of 灰礁鲨 now depend on conditions, the site still boasts thrilling currents and massive schools of 步兵, 鲷鱼和 金枪鱼. Expect exciting dives with strong currents and big pelagic action.

Moofushi Kandu is one of Ari Atoll’s best channel dives, where experienced divers can encounter 灰礁鲨, 鹰射线, and even manta rays. Located at depths of 40–50 meters, this site offers spectacular sightings during moderate currents—sometimes with over 100 sharks cruising the entrance.

At the southern tip of Ari Atoll, Maamigili Beyru is world-famous as the top whale shark dive site in the Maldives. With a gently sloping outer reef and deeper drop-offs, this site is also rich with 群鱼 and overhangs. Due to heavy boat traffic, always dive with an SMB for safety.

Near the house reef of Machafushi Island in South Ari Atoll, the Kudimaa wreck is a purpose-sunk steel ship that has become a thriving home for nudibranchs, shrimps和 frogfish. A great site for wreck lovers and macro enthusiastsalike.

Just off Kuda Rah Island, this protected thila is one of Ari Atoll’s most photogenic dive spots. Advanced divers can explore schools of bluestripe snapper, batfish和 步兵, with the chance to spot 灰礁鲨. 氮氧 is recommended for extended bottom time in moderate currents.

Located near Rangali Island, Rangali Madivaru is a renowned manta ray cleaning station best visited during the northeast monsoon (Dec–April). Found around 9 meters deep, this site features a sloping reef edge and offers amazing manta encounters, plus abundant macro life.
